As a native of Sioux City, Iowa, Lindsey Seals “PL” was raised by a single mom with four older sisters. He spent much of his childhood pursuing his two passions; music and football. As a star running back in high school, his dreams of one day playing college football were quickly shattered, as he suffered a severe ankle injury that put an end to his playing career. In 1991 he moved to Florida to pursue a career in contemporary Christian music, as a member of the pop group “Area Code,” signed to Sony Music.

In 1993, a chance encounter with Pastors Richard and Gail Perinchief of NOW Church® in Ocala opened a new phase of PL’s destiny. He soon became music pastor, and later, senior associate pastor. He has been an intrical part of the NOW Church staff for over 20 years. PL is passionate about worship and the local church! In addition to being a gifted musician and talented vocalist, Lindsey is a powerful communicator and sought- after conference & workshop speaker. After ministering in nearly forty nations, one of his greatest desires is to be a help to creative arts departments in local churches! He believes that if the church will fully utilize the tools of creativity, innovation and excellence, mixed with the anointing; there is no stronger force on the face of the earth!

As if he wasn’t busy enough with his responsibilities at NOW Church, PL took on the role of team pastor for the University of Florida Gators football team from 2008-2011. During that time he experienced what he calls “one of the most impactful seasons of his life!” His music helped break racial barriers and religious stereotypes, which allowed him to effectively reach a wide variety of players, coaches, and staff. Team chapel services which averaged 5-7, exploded under his leadership to over 100 in weekly attendance! Following the Gators 2008 national championship season, the players surprised PL and called him on-stage in front of the entire stadium and a live TV audience to sing ”Majesty” one of their favorite songs from chapel.

Who could of ever imagined PL’s childhood dream of winning a national championship would eventually come true; not from playing in a game, but for his work behind the scenes, mentoring some of the most elite student athletes in the country and encouraging them in their faith.

In 2014, Lindsey teamed up with acclaimed producer, Robert “Big Bert” Smith (Michael Jackson, Beyonce. Jennifer Lopez, Lil’ Wayne, etc) to record several cuts for his long- awaited EP, “In It All.” The album is a hybrid of sorts; pop, rock, dance, gospel, folk, with his signature funk undertones, provide the perfect bed for Lindsey’s soulful vocal. Local talent was brought in for guitar, bass, percussion, and even banjo. In addition, members of the Ocala Symphony Orchestra accompanied PL on the song, “Peace” and hip-hop artist, Tekulve, is featured on the title track, “In It All.”
